1. Theme Installation

Automatic installation


  1. Download ZIP package from Themeforest and unzip it.
  2. In unzipped folder you will find Event_install.zip file. Do not unzip it one more time.
  3. In your Wordpress Dashboard navigate to Appearance > Themes.
  4. Click on Install Themes, click Upload and browse the Event_install.zip file and click Install Now.
  5. After installation is complete click on Activate Theme. Theme is now installed.


Manual Installation


  1. Download ZIP package from Themeforest and unzip it.
  2. In unzipped folder you will find Event_install.zip file. Unzip it one more time.
  3. Simply put unzipped theme folder into your /wp-content/themes directory.

Install plugins


Importing Sample Content


If you want quick setup for your website, you can import our xml data sample that included in theme package that locate in sample data folder, here the step how to import sample data :

  1. Login to WP-admin.
  2. Go to Tools => Import menu and choose Wordpress.
  3. In upload field choose the xml sample data and upload it.
  4. Now you need to configure Appearance > Themes option. theme options.





Static Front Page


By default the front page ("Home") of your WordPress site will display your latest posts. You can change this so readers see a static page instead, and can view your posts on a different page.

  1. Log into your Wordpress Dashboard.
  2. Click on Settings > Reading.
  3. Choose the radio button labeled A static page (select below).
  4. Choose your Homepage for Front Page, and choose your Blog page for Posts Page.
  5. All done. Your Blog is now fully functional.


After making these changes, posts will no longer show on the front page of your blog. The static page "Home" will show there. Visitors will need to click on the link to "Posts" page to see your posts.

Main Menus


After creating your menu(s) select in the Theme Locations section. You can display a single menu in multiple locations.

  1. Log into your Wordpress dashboard and click on Appearance > Menus.
  2. Enter a Name for your Menu and click on Create Menu.
  3. Add Pages to your menu by checking off the check boxes and hitting Add to Menu
  4. To re-order the pages of your menu items simply drag and drop them into place.
  5. After your menu is completed hit Save Menu.
  6. After Your menu is saved you'll need to choose your navigation from the dropdown list under the 'Theme Locations' section.
  7. Hit save and you are all complete. Your menu is now setup.

Show all blogClick on Speaker Tables > All Speakers.




Creating a Speaker

  1. Click on Speaker > Add New and fill in all of the fields accordingly.
  2. Hit save/update.
  3. Now you have a speaker page set up!


Schedule Post


Show all Schedule Click on Schedule Tables > All Schedules.




Creating a Schedule

  1. Click on Schedule > Add New and fill in all of the fields accordingly.
  2. Hit save/update.
  3. Now you have a schedule page set up!




Show all Gallery Click on Gallery Tables > All Gallery.




Creating Gallery Categories

  1. Gallery categories are used to filter your gallery items.
  2. Adding a gallery category is very similar to adding a default post category.
  3. Click on Gallery Tables > Gallery Categories.
  4. Enter a name for your category and click Add New Category.
  5. Repeat this process for the additional categories you'd like to enter.

Creating a Gallery

  1. Click on Gallery > Add New and fill in all of the fields accordingly.
  2. Hit save/update.
  3. Now you have a team page set up!




Blog Post


Show all blogClick on Post Tables > All Post.




Creating Blog Tags

  1. Blog Tags are used to filter your pricing items.
  2. Adding a Blog tags is very similar to adding a default post tags.
  3. Click on Blog Tables > Blog Tags.
  4. Enter a name for your tag and click Add New Tags.
  5. Repeat this process for the additional tags you'd like to enter.

Creating a Blog

  1. Click on Post > Add New and fill in all of the fields accordingly.
  2. Hit save/update.
  3. Now you have a team page set up!




Partner


Show all PartnerClick on Partner Tables > All Partners.




Creating a Blog

  1. Click on Post > Add New and fill in all of the fields accordingly.
  2. Hit save/update.
  3. Now you have a team page set up!






5. Sidebar

Click on Appearance > Wiget..







6. Theme Options


Most features of the theme are manages in Theme Options panel. It can be accessed in your dashboard under Appearance > Themes menu. Settings are divided into categories for easier navigation. And have commentaries where some explanation is needed. Take a little time to explore options and possibilities before starting other steps.

11. Metabox

We use Metabox Group plugin for this theme. Meatbox plugin’s version 4.4.0 is the best to run with our theme. If you updated the higher level version and got some errors, don’t worry, just follow these steps:
_ Download file file-metabox.zip and unzip. You will have file filed.php and filed/image.php.
_ Copy and paste it to forder plugin -> meta-box -> inc.
