In this user guide you will find all required information to get your site up and running: starting from theme installation and setup, to usage of different post types, page templates and shortcodes.

Our themes are compatible with the WordPress versions 4.7.x or higher ( PHP 5.6.x or higher, and mysql 5 or higher).

Most JavaScript enabled Browsers will make them work with no issues. They are designed and optimized for desktops, tablets and smartphones.

Currently we are testing themes in:

  • Google Chrome (Mac and PC)
  • Firefox (Mac and PC)
  • Internet Explorer 11 and later
  • Safari (Mac and PC)

Installing WordPress

WordPress is well-known for its ease of installation. Under most circumstances installing WordPress is a very simple process and takes less than five minutes to complete. Many web hosts now offer tools (e.g. Bluehost, mediatemple) to automatically install WordPress for you. However, if you wish to install WordPress yourself, click below button to read about Famous 5 Minute Installation.


  • Some of the images included in the demo site are for showcase only and not distributed in the package.
  • Server requirements: PHP 5.3 or greater, max_execution_time 120, memory_limit 64M, post_max_size 32M, upload_max_filesize 32M, allow_url_fopen ON.
  • Check to ensure that your web host has the minimum requirements to run WordPress
  • Always make sure they are running the latest version of WordPress
  • You can download the latest release of WordPress from official WordPress website
  • Always create secure passwords FTP and Database

Please note that we do not give support or any questions related on how to install and maintain wordpress. For any faulty installation that may cause your website or our theme malfunction you should refer to wordpress support forum. Alternatively you can get help from your web hosting.

1. Install

1.1. Install Theme

To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For information in regard to installing the WordPress platform, please see the WordPress Codex – http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress When you are ready to install a theme, you must first upload the theme files and then activate the theme itself. The theme files can be uploaded in two ways:

  1. FTP Upload: Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the /wp-content/themes/folder on your server
  2. WordPress Upload: Navigate to Appearance > Add New Themes > Upload. Go to browse, and select the zipped theme folder. Hit “Install Now” and the theme will be uploaded and installed.

Once the theme is uploaded, you need to activate it. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate your chosen theme.

1.2. Install Required Plugins

  • Contact Form 7 – Used for contact form and newsletter signup
  • CitySoul postype and function – Core of theme –  it contains the functionality and posttypes of this theme
  • WPBakery Visual Composer – Page builder – This plugin will allow you to build your page easily.
  • Woocommerce – Best WordPress Plugin for Ecommerce.
  • Master Slider – Create beautiful and creative slider.
  • YITH WooCommerce Wishlist – Add all Wishlist features to your website.
  • YITH WooCommerce Quick View – adds the possibility to have a quick preview of the products right from product list

Please remember that all of plugins above is include with our theme. So you not need to purchase any more.

When you active this theme, you can download these plugins in the notice about requirement plugins in the top page.



1.3. Setting up sample content (optional)

To help customers building pages faster, we also provide our sample data, which is included with theme package. (please note that this is work best at fresh WordPress installation ).
We provided a function that allow you to one click import demo, please go to this section to read about that.

2.Theme Option

This theme provide a lot of options that you can easier to modify.
In Admin panel > Theme options  , then you will see.
I will describe these option for you as below :

2.1. General Option

This section is for basic setup. That you can set your logo, go to top button,…

  • Upload logoUpload mobile logoUpload fixed header logo :
    to change the main logo , logo in mobile , logo fixed menu of your website.

  • Enable smooth scroll :
    This option will make mouse scroll become smooth.

  • Show main navigation :
    This option will allow you to hide / show the main menu.

  • Choose contact form booking profile :
    You can choose your custom contact form for your detail profile page. (Click to the button Booking in detail profile page, you will jump to this contact form) .


If you want to change the style of header, here is the best place to do it.


You can control header more effective with rest options.



If you want to change the style of footer, here is the best place to do it.


You can custom your footer text, color and background color by the rest options.

2.3. Main menu setting

  • As you can see here, this is place that you can control typo of your menu (navigation).
  • We allow you to fully customize it, you can change font, size, style of menu item.

But if it’s not necessary, please don’t modify it. It may break our style, that’s what we don’t want 🙂


2.4. Styling Option

This section allow you to change the styling. It contain 3 child sections :

  • Theme style setting : Change the body style
  • Button color : Change the button style
  • Sidebar color : Change the sidebar text style.

2.5. Blog Option

Blog Archive Option (for archive blog page): 

  • Archive layout : To change the layout page.

  • Also, as you can see in screenshot, we provide a lot of option to enable/disable the page elements.


Blog Single Option (for single blog page): 

  • Archive layout : To change the layout page.

  • Also, as you can see in screenshot, we provide a lot of option to enable/disable the page elements.

2.6. Social Setting

  • This section allow you to put your social link to social button .


  • If you leave social field to blank, social button will be disappear.

2.7. Advance option

Allow you to turn on responsive mode.

2.8. Demo Importer

  • If you want to speed up building page. You can use this section.
  • This section will provide you a set of demos, just import the demo that you like.
  • Note : work best for fresh WordPress page.

2.9. Import/Export

  • This section allow you to import or export the Theme option.
  • You should use this feature when you want to set option faster.

3. Page Option

  • When render the page, Page option will be prioritized over Theme option . 
  • You can use page option in Edit page.

  • With page option, you can change font type, header, footer style, logo,..

4. Page Template

  • Page Template is the useful feature that bring to you the ability to set up the specific pages easier (Just choose the template then save).
  • To understand Page Template, you can refer this article.
  • To use Page Template, in edit page, you will see the Template option in the right column (like this image)

This is our default template, will show the content with header & footer and header image (featured image).

This page template don’t require any setting.

4.3. Template choose sidebar

This is page where you can show sidebar in your webpage.

5. Custom Posttypes

Custom posttype is the kind of post that serve for some specific business.
Create a custom posttype is similar to post .
Below I will show you how to create a custom posttype :

  1. In left column in admin panel

  2. Click Add New in post type name

  3. Set data for post type and then Save

7. How tos/Guides

7.1. How to use subscribe form

  • Subscribe form in footer is integrated with MailChimp
    So you have to create a Mail Chimp account first.
  • And then go to Appearance > Theme option > Social Setting > MailChimp API > Set your Mailchimp API + Group ID.
  • From now on, your subscribers will be added in your MailChimp account .

7.3. Translate this theme

Using PoEdit

The translation file default.pot you can find in Translation Files folder in theme package. Edit the .po file using POEdit, use the translation field to make replacements. Read here how to do it right.

From the file menu, save file with your language name e.g de_DE.po. It will generate both a .po and .mo files for your translation. Place these files into languages folder /wp-content/themes/bebostore/languages.

Translation with WPML

Bebostore is WPML compatible theme that means you may translate template to the language you need. To start you need to purchase a recent version of WPML, including the String Translation and Translation Management modules.

Follow Getting Started Guide after core WPML plugins installation.

To begin translation go to WPML > Theme and Plugin Localization. Click on Scan the theme for strings and you will see theme strings and which ones are translated or not. Then select WPML > String translation and a list of the strings in the theme will be available. Choose the string you need to translate and press translation link to add translations to languages.
